Real news, with a real attitude. Taking the shit you're going to hear anyway, and giving it to you in a way that isn't a cop-out for pseudo-politeness. Yea that's right, you FCC obeying jackasses. I'm talking to you!

Madera CA, Pilot Truck Stop Scammed Out Of 1,200 Dollars
Oh goody, another local story! I just love when something happens in my town. Sure it's not as interesting as the Fruit and Veggie fest, but it's still better then nothing. Oh, and it's still personal, I will tell you why after the lowdown on the showdown.
Four men entered Pilot on Tuesday masked as costumers asking to break large bills (high rollah!). Continuing the effort the men had managed to eventually confuse the Cashiers into supplying them with more money then the men had started with.
The total sum of scammed cash was around 1,200 bucks. Management at the Truck Stop refused to go on camera but had mentioned a change in how they handle transactions. From now on a supervisor will be required when cashiers are handling large bills.
This is apparently a very short story, and I have no information on who the scammers are and if they have been captured. Presume them to be on the loose.
These four men are my boys! No I do not know them but I wish I did. Not only did they outsmart money out of a business. But they did it to one who had sent me an email a few days ago saying that they do not want me, in response to my third application to them. My first granted me an interview which I had turned down for my current employer who has given me one day and an hour worth of work since mid-2012.
With that being said, fuck you Pilot. You should have hired me, Karma is a bitch!
p.s. I will still take a position.
I have no relevant photos, so here is me with fish.
-Arrrooo!

LOL, I remember when I worked at Home Depot this guy came in and tried to do that. Right when he was leaving I was like "hey, you wanna leave that $100 bill with me, or will i have to take it from you personally?" he was a big old dude and he didnt really know what to do with my 4'11 little self staring him down. he looked like he wanted to run, but he didnt. good choice on his part, haha. i dont understand how people can get confused. yes theyre the customer, but thats YOUR drawer. you go at YOUR pace. one bill at a time. and never, ever be afraid to just say "hell no" (professionally, of course)
ReplyDeleteThe event took about ten minutes to finish, so they probably just irritated the employees to the point they stopped giving a damn.
DeleteEither that or karma is on the case and keeping me unemployed bit the in the buttox.
